3rd and 4th Grade
Dear Parents:
I just wanted to give you a brief update on what we have been doing in class. The subjects in the curriculum are: Reading, Hebrew prayers, Judaic studies which includes Jewish holidays, rituals, Jewish symbols, mitzvahs, tzedakah, and synagogue and synagogues around the world.
Some of the children have already come into our sanctuary with me before. They could get up close and see the things that I was talking about. I am going to do this again.
I have incorporated various games for learning our curriculum which I found it not only enjoyable for the children to learn but also reinforces the information that they had learned.

Dear Parents:
Hope you and your family had a great summer. I’m looking forward to seeing the children and being able to be their teacher again this year.
As you already know, I have incorporated various games for learning which makes learning fun and enables the children learn.
I will be reviewing what I taught last year. I will be teaching new prayers, reading, Judaica which includes Jewish Holidays, rituals, Jewish symbols, mitzvahs and Tzedakah. Discussions with the children are always nice.
I hope the children still have the letter sheets. Please let me know. It is important for the children to study 10 minutes twice a week. It would be a plus if you went over the letter sheets with your child. Encouragement goes a long way. I can see the children’s expression of joy when they know the answer and I must confess that makes me feel happy also.
If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected] or call me at 629-0466.
Looking forward to a terrific year!
